Studio Mehler is encouraging all of our suppliers to be conscious of their production and distribution processes. As they improve and comply we are happy to continually update this section of our site to encourage out clients to support them.
Christiana Cabinetry
 Their commitment to the consumer has always been to provide the highest quality product. They believe that the earth does not belong to us, but rather we inherit if from our children. With that in mind, they have a responsibility to be good stewards of the earth's resources. This responsibility has led them to explore ways to produce product that is formaldehyde/HAPS free for the environmentally/health conscious consumer.
Currently their cabinetry is constructed of 100% formaldehyde-free plywood. In addition, they have recently made available a completely HAP's, formaldehyde, isocyanate, and nitrocellulose free finish. There are no noxious off-gases, VOC is very low and finishes meet or exceeds KCMA and ANSI performance requirements. In addition, for quality assurance their products are manufactured either in house or locally through vendors who share their same philosophy on preserving the environment. All of their cabinetry is completely formaldehyde free providing safe products for you and your family.
The plywood they use is purchased only from managed wood forests in the United States. They are participating members of the National Kitchen & Bath Association, and the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association. In addition, they are currently seeking Environmental Stewardship Program (ESP) certification through KCMA. For further information on this program visit www.kcma.org.
